Dylan Rhymer started out as a zygote and quickly developed muscles, limbs and a face. Never happy with the status quo, at the age of 9 months he abandoned the warmth of his mother's uturus and never looked back!Since then he has appeared on more shows than he can remember, including...CTV's Comedy Now!CBC's The DebatersThe Edinburgh Fringe FestivalChicago SketchfestBumbershoot Arts Festival,(Seattle)Newfoundland Screech Comedy FestivalCanwest Comedy Fest,(Vancouver) hubcap comedy festivalas an actor He has appeared in The Dead Zone, Psych! and in the hit game Scarface The World is Yours where he created, wrote and voiced the character Dick Hackney, obnoxious 80's stand-up comedian . It was a dream gig.. Seriously. You can totally blow his brains out and everything. in 2001 he and a rag-tag bunch of comedians created the laugh gallery in vancouver as a means to get stage time and wrangle free burritos out of a kind salvadoran lady on commercial drive in vancouver. it quickly became the hub of the west coast alt-comedy scene. since its inception it has featured zach galifianakis, brent butt, flight of the conchords, sean majumder and many, many amazing vancouver comedians who don;t make nearly as much money as those famous guys i just mentioned. it is now the longest-running comedy show in vancouver. He is co-creator and performer in vancouver's seminal political news parody group Blackout Broadcast.he, along with comedian baljeet rai are the creators of online series nature: red in tooth and claw. fans across the globe tune in to watch the hopelessly inept, alcoholic, ignorant, racist, homophobic nature show presenter weston biggerstaff and his long-suffering show producer terry, played by dylan. that's about it. he lives in halifax with a smokin' redhead and is getting plenty sick of this shitty weather, I can tell you that much.

BLACKOUT BROADCAST is a critically-acclaimed news-sketch-comedy-trio from Vancouver, Canada comprised of Dylan Rhymer, Jackie Blackmore and Peter New. Their unique perfomance style is that of an old-timey radio play along the lines of the Goon Show, with a satirical, sharp-tongued modern twist. Their shows are a fast-paced blend of characters, sketches, commercial parodies and songs that have made it impossible to listen to newsradio without laughing like an idiot.Since their inception in 2000, they have performed across Canada and the US including Chicago Sketchfest, SNL Showcase performances, Canwest Comedy Fest, Sketch inTime Comedy Fundraisers, and headlining the Vancouver Sketch Ciomedy Festival. DYLAN RHYMER is a stand-up comic from Vancouver, Canada. He is best known for his acerbic political rants and imaginative and in-your-face perfomance style. He has recorded his own one-hour stand-up special for CTV's Comedy Now and appeared onm CBC Radio's The Debaters aned in a slew of bit parts in TV and movies. JACKIE BLACKMORE is an actor and comedian in Vancouver. She is well-known to Vacouver audiences thanks to her sold-out fringe shows and frequest appearances on TV and in films. She is a founding member of legendary Vancouver sketch group the Legend of Bonesfish, and is presently killing crowds in audience favorite sketch group The Skinny.PETER NEW is a comedian and actor from, you guessed it, Vancouver. (although he is technically from New Zealand) He has quickly risen to become one of Vancouver's most sought-out actors and has appeared in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, Dead Like Me, Psych! and has racked up a a mountain of film and television credits. As a writer he has worked on the Comedy Network's Point Blank, and he is also one of the founding members of The Legend of Bonefish.
